Tarra Bulga National Park

Tarra Bulga National Park

Balook VIC 3971

Lush gullies, giant mountain ash trees and tree ferns are hallmarks of Tarra Bulga National Park, one of just four major areas of cool temperate rainforest in the state.

The broader park offers diverse and changing terrain ideal for orienteering or endurance cross-country style events and plays host to the Gippsland ultra-marathon, Duncan’s Run.

On the recreation front there are options galore for photographers, hikers and those seeking a spiritual nature retreat.

Visitors can picnic under mountain ash, take a bushwalk, view cascading waterfalls and rivers, walk the iconic suspension bridge, listen for lyrebirds and take in a plethora of plants and wildlife.

Tarra Bulga is a dynamic natural wonder well worth considering for any outdoor event.

Find a service or supplier

It takes a lot of moving parts to bring together a great event. It’s difficult to host events in some regional centres, because they simply don’t have the services and suppliers you need to make it work. It’s costly to bring everything with you, and we understand that in the Latrobe Valley.
